How to align your shoulders
A proper back posture can be the difference between getting a promotion at work or being shown the exit door.
It is no secret that hunched back and dropped shoulders are symptoms of low self-esteem. There are many of us who have paid our dues, but got bent backs because of the hours we spend at our desks. We can’t let a poor back posture make us loose the grip on a deal.
Here are few ways you can fight bad posture and relieve shoulder pain.
Strengthen your mid back
Having muscle in your mid back region between your shoulder blades is one of the ways of having your shoulders properly aligned. To achieve this, you can engage in exercises such as swimming.
Stretch your chest and neck muscles.
When the muscle in the chest is overly tight, the shoulders may pull forward and out of alignment. To stretch out your chest muscles, stand in a doorway or against a corner and raise the arm closest to the wall to shoulder-height.
